Or for numbers that arent multiples of 10 like:
A) 57 Mph
Divide by 10:
5.7
Multiply whole part by 6:
B) 5 x 6 = 30
Multiply fraction by 6 (remember to divide by 10):
C) 7 x 6 / 10 = 4.2
Add A, B and C:
57 + 30 + 4.2 = 91.2
Answer is 91.2 Mph.
Easy huh? I think that's how freaks do big-ass calculations in their head,
except they might use a picture system to represent numbers because pictures
are easier for the brain to remember.
