Errol,
Does the lack of electronics mean that they are easily made?
You could convert a twin weber setup (expensive)or make your own manifold and slide
plate throttles (cheap and effective but time consuming), or use motorcycle
carbs(inbetween)
So all you need is a compatible aftermarket ECU and the necessary sensors?
Sounds interesting....
Regards,
Nick

Nick,
It is based on throttle position, manifold vacuum, air temp and Rpm. It can
also be based on O2 sensor output in closed loop modes?
Cheers

Listers,
How does a quad thottle body setup calculate how much fuel to inject?
Is is only based on throttle position, manifold vacuum and air temp?
Regards,
Nick

I agree with Daniel. I've been running a quad throttle body setup on my L20
with a Wolf3d for about 18 months now. Heaps of torque down low. Sounds
absolutely great. They bark like a dog ( webers just can't match the sound
these things put out). Efi Hardware in Melbourne sell good throttlebodies
and all the necessary gear. Steve Ewing the owner runs this setup and knows
what he is talking about for any desired info.
cheers....
Scott....

If your going for wild induction setups, why not a quad throttle body fuel
injected arrangement using a wolf 2d for the fuel. Injection perfection and
a few others make this sort of thing. I would then use a series 2 bluebird
dissy for the ignition side of things. Much better than webers due to finer
tuning and you still have the advantage of one throat per cylinder. You
could even run unleaded depending on static comp. ratio of the engine.
That's what I wanted to do but went instead for a turbo, injected engine as
mine is only for the street.
Just a thought anyway.............
