Well, only 3 weeks or so until I return to OZ and start work on the
Datto project. My plans or for this year entail doing a bit of MX racing
so the datto will need to double as a tow car for a while. Yes I will be
reinforcing the rear end!!
My question to the list is this:-
What would be a good engine to drop in to make the thing tow a small box
trailer without too much trouble? I have a SSS 5 speed and standard auto
diff in the car right now. I was thinking of a trying a relatively cheap
N/A fuel injected import engine, something like a Z20, maybe even a
larger RWD KA24 from a nissan ute or something. Basically I'll need
something that has good torque, is ultra reliable, and not too thirsty,
(hence my reasoning for EFI).
