Keep it simple - install an L20B with a pair of SSS SU's - bore it out if
even more torque is required.  Strong, torquey, reliable, almost a bolt in
swap.  Use your 5 speed and go for a 4.11 diff ('75-'80 manual 180-200BSSS),
your current diff should be a 3.9.  If you tow your trailer up hill on grass
you may need an LSD

This will tow your trailer at 110KPH  everywhere.  Luke Clough's EFI L18
pulls a 500Kgm tandem comfortably at 110KPH in 5th, (except up long steep
hills).  His towbar is only bolted at the bumper iron mounts and to the base
of the spare wheel well.
