Plus what I think is one of their unique attributes, when the slide
throttles snap shut there is no combustion noise.  The engine only barks
(inlet and exhaust) when it is accelerating hard- there's (relative) silence
when the mousetraps are snapped shut on gear changes - just like 70's F1
engines!
