David I didn't mean Rebvbuild the motor.
Pritty much rebuild the front end/remanufacture engine bay and breaking system.

Also I read one of your reply's and in a 1600 if you have the original? I think stuff
that absorbs engine noise that is stuck to the bonnet the L20 won't fit under the
bonnet when closed.
So when we bolt them in we have to remove the deadening from the bonnet and as a
friend pionted out the original rocker cover from a 1600 that Says Datsun 1600 OHC on
it is actually a little bit shorter so that leaves a little bit more room for
clearance.
You could also get shorter engine mounts made up to make the engine sit a little lower.
