Todd,

You need higher powered lights.

To fit these you also need to minimise voltage drop by using a high quality
relay to supply the volts, and 4mm wires to connect from the battery to the
relay and each globe.  Your talking $40 - $50 in bits before you actually
buy replacement lights.

You cant run high wattage globes through the standard wiring system as it
will eventually destroy your high/low beam switch on the column. Just doing
the above will maximise the output from your existing globes, but replacing
the outer high/low light with a cibie inserts fitted with 90/130w globes
should bring daylight back to your night driving.

Check the Ozdat archives file for good info on headlight setups including
wiring.
