Todd,
5.75" H4 is a good replacement for outers and H1 for inners - most early
Japanese wreckers usually have a big box of headlights and you'd be
surprised what's in them, sometimes you'll even find a set of Cibies. Alfa,
BMW, Ford, H*nda and some European cars used QI's standard, although you'll
pay way too much for most of them at Euro wreckers.
Look for aftermarket in Japanese yards is the best go - need patience and
plenty of time these days though as every Datto owner is after the same
thing.
regards
Terry

Subject: headlights
Hi all I am currently trying to improve my headlighting in my 1600 and was
wondering what other ppl have done. H4 would be nice but $100 -150 a pair
is out of my budget. Is there any cars that came out with semi sealed beams
the same dimensions as the datto (early 3 series bmw?) that can be found in
the wreckers as im sick of the low light that the 37.5/55watt hi/low and 55W
hi sealed beams give out. Thanxs in advance....Tod
