After being rear ended on Saturday night, the back of my previously straight
1600 is now VERY bent, and the front is also damaged where I got shunted
into another car. 98% chance that it's a write off as the damage bill
pretty much matches the agreed value. One more Datsun 1600 bites the dust.
I'm bitterly disappointed about it, since I stopped in time and completely
avoided an TA22 Celica/Excel collision ahead of me got rear ended up by a
R32 GTS-T behind me, and shunted into the Celica. Tim Frost aka 4SFED
slammed into the R32 in his 2 day old $17,000 Mazda 323 Familia, and his
insurance cover started today.... but thankfully, no injuries to any party.
So, I'm looking for a shell with the usual impossible to find things,
straight, minimal rust, etc in the Adelaide area. Running gear isn't much
of a concern as the driveline will go straight from the bent 510 to the
other, so if anybody has something please let me know.
