Thanks a lot for the advice Richard, I will try it one night this week.  In 
relation to glueing 10mm on the inside and outside edges are you referring 
to the outside sill where the window fits in, and the inside meaning on the 
inside of the car on the underside of the same sill, if you know what I 
mean.  In other words you glue the lining to the outside sill and its 
underside, approx 10mm.
