I have seen some very hard working VG20's. Their only problem is a bit like
myself, they really need to go on a diet!!! Bloody heavy things. I have seen
them run to 9000 regularly without mishap but that engine had some after
market valve springs.

Hey all,
As some ppl know I am doing a VG20(T3)turbo into a 69 1600.. and
have been doing research on if it is legal in QLD.. and i have got 2
different answers, 1. Illegal because a 1600 never came out with a 6
cylinder and 2.I can do it Legally as its not over a 2L turbo..
can anybody clarify them?? as ive been to the transport department and
couldnt get USEFUL info from them :(
And also I have been told that the VG isnt a strong motor?? Dad doesnt agree
with that but if anybody else feels the same whats the weakest link??
