Sounds like a very nice Datto already.  Look after the body, its an import,
much better built than the Aussie variety as it is less prone to rust,
unless badly repaired or regularly parked under trees.

I am sure you will get the answers you need but I cant give you specific
comparisons.  Your scorpion brake setup is a pretty common swap but R31 rear
discs are very popular.
Front 240K twinspots are desirable but I cant tell you how they compare to R
30 fronts.  Verada or Commodore vented front discs are being grafted on, but
require a bit of machining and a set of suitable wider callipers.
