I jad the same trouble, with the 1600 filler rubber cracking. the solution was
to fit a 180b rubber, with the 1600 metal surround. The 180b rubber is more
pliable.

parts out from the filler position, as the rubber is hard and looks
like it will crack easily if I try to get it out then put it in my new car.
Have you guys got a way of doing this, or have people used new
(and pliable) parts from somewhere???
