Temp gauges

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone on the list has any experience in fitting an
Autometer temp gauge the an FJ20. I want to try and fit it without retapping
the thread, but I am having trouble finding an adaptor. Went to a certain V8
speed shop in Hombush who proceeded to tell me that "it's metric, don't have
anything metric"
