Hi everyone who wanted to see the gauges
I have just posted a couple of pics of them (along with a few of the
car's present state) at at the following address:

it can be seen they are big and clear. by my calcs the speedo is
calibrated in kmh with an internal ratio within 0.1% of the 1600
speedo (will check accuracy once in the car).
the warning lights of the factory surround had to be chopped for the
tacho (as can be seen they have been replaced with a group of
LEDs). The trim panels are brushed aluminium.
>From the back shot it can be seen the speedo needed different
holes drilled and ~5mm of metal taken out to fit it. also some work
to be able to use the factory high beam indicator lamp position. the
flying leads are from the LEDs, and to backlight the tacho using
the factory warning light positions. the thing next to the cluster in
the back shot is the mazda speedo cable connector - unfortunately
its a push on thing rather than the orig screw on. no hassle though
to take of the original and fit this one.
I cant actually remember which mazda they came from, but I will
find out next time i am at pick apart. the job was a lot of hassle
working various things out, but now that its done I could easily
replicate it in an hour or two.
