Thanks for the offer of looking up the lighting details for me, but
rather than splice into the wiring loom before the connector, I want
to keep the instrument cluster self contained (ie only connections
the multi pin plug and speedo).
so i am going to *carefully* connect the factory (ex) warning light
tracks in parallel to the speedo backlight tracks, with LEDs for the
warning lights connected to the corresponding tracks (observing
polarity).
