Hi listers,
  I have an L20B from a bluey one the upright oil filter.  I am going to 
replace my L18 that is currently in my 1600 with.  Ring and bearings 
where done 3 years a go
and  tread in the block (head stud) was striped,  it was then sheded till
now  when i bought it at a good price.  I am planing to fix the block
with a helli  coil.  I have pulled off the head & timing chain cover as
the timing chain  was off.  I am going to get the head vacum tested and
resurfaced (if it  needs it) obviously replace all gaskets.  

Just have a few questions?

1  would the to oil seals at each end of the crank still be ok?
2  would there be anything else that would need replacing after sitting
in  the shed for so long?
3  can i use my L18 fule pump?

And any tips you guys can give me on common mistakes made etc.....
