Terry,

The bracket is steel but the bit over the top of the pads is alloy. The pad
area on the ones I have is smaller than the backing plate area. If you could
increase pad to backing plate then you could run a std pad and probably
never get fade on a street 1600.

Biggest problem is the need for big wheels. You might squeeze them under
15's but more likely 16's will be required especially if you use with a merc
300mm diameter vented disk and dogbone caliper bracket. As I have seen on
240Zeds.

Regards
Trev

Trev,

Keep us informed on how you go with these as I think if they are suitable
then they are probably the best cost effective upgrade to vented fronts for
the multitudes with 240K/C210/200B struts. How heavy in comparison to other
twin spots - they are an alloy afaik. I think the weight penalty still is
worth the benefits of the overall package and they should give you good race
quality stoppers.

Terry

Terry,

I have a set, untried so far. They have 2 X 4.5 cm diameter pistons and a
very large pad area. Pretty heavy to. I have seen on 240Zed's a conversion
with a merc 300mm diameter vented disk and dogbone caliper bracket.

Trev
