Those struts I bought recently with the Tokicos were modified 280ZX struts.
They had adjustable threaded tubes welded on but the guy had cut and welded
the original spring seat to the collar so he could use the original springs.
If you did it this way but used the 510 collars then you could use the
original top spring seat and some king springs or similar. I can get those
tubes including the threaded two rings here for �16 a side (that's about
AU$44) plus postage. They are easy to fit too... I've already done two other
pairs for other people.
