Thanx terry and richard
Yeah i have pulled the fuel pump out and all lines under the hood to check
for blockages, i have a spare pump so i might chuck it in to see if that was
damaged, the silastic was only present after the pump but i will change
filter etc. The missfire is present when free reved above 1500-2000rpm in
neutral and becomes undrivable if reved in gear. I am currently pulling
down the carbies to check all orifices for foriegn material. If the
silastic has made it to the valves and causing probs there is there any
solvents i could remove it without having to pull the head? I will reset
all the valve clearances as per the Dimequarterly article i have as it has
been a bit rattly l8tly.
Thanx again ......Missfire Mystified Tod.
