Davo,

I can't help that much here but don't just buy the first R31 Silly diff you
come across as only the Gibson cars (usually white with red wheels) had the
4.111 LSD that this guy is talking about. The "look a likes" had the stock
open 3.7 in manual and 3.889 in auto.

regards
Terry

Subject: diffs for 1200

Hey list.

Just been having a good think about diffs for my 1200. I have rung a few
places around Sydney and all suggested a Borg Warner LSD setup with
commodore disc's and calipers for $1600-1700. I thought fark that way to
expensive as i would rather do all the work myself. Another shop suggested
using a Skyline Shilloutte diff as it allready has disc's and 4.1:1 LSD
centre. I dont want anything huge just big enough to handle 150hp and a
fair bit of thrashing. I have a H190 atm but is too big and too expensive
to find a LSD center a disc brake rear end. The borg warner sounds good but
there must be a cheaper way round it. Any ideas??
