James, I have 215 65 14 A008's on the back of mine and these are a very tight fit.The lip has been rolled and there's no way you could fit any wider unless you fit flares and cut you doors away and half tub the inner gaurd.As for traction the 1600's are bad for launches but you should be able to get under 6 secs with a bit of hp.
