You all know that I thought LRP was OK even with webers and VH compression -
until it got cold round here that was. I've never heard a L series engine
pop and spit like mine did on that sh*t on a -5 morning and even worse below
3000 rpm if it was a bit foggy. Main problem was going back on throttle
after overrun like through a roundabout, ppl in Hyundai's would sh*t
themselves when the spitting started - quite funny at times.
Optimax is good stuff though, even cheaper this week too.

Believe it or not my new (old) car runs perfectly on LRP. Sure it would
probably run better on Optimax :) but it doesnt cough and splutter and
intake backfire like the L-series would. Still I would never put LRP in the
Datsun especially when I know it will run fine on unleaded! Maybe the LRP
reacts badly with Webers or high compression.
