You can legally run unleaded without a cat and we are all doing it these
days no matter what other than the BP100 and Avgas boys. A stock cat may be
restrictive but not all of them are - a Walker Turbo is a can with a
straight through 3" hole in it.

Why run unleaded? All fuel in Aus is unleaded, that includes LRP - as it's
PULP with a cocktail of additives.
Optimax - I love the smell of Nitrous (some sort of Oxide) in the mornings.

The smell that you sometimes get from ULP is Sulphur Dioxide (rotten egg gas
or laughing gas) not very funny I know if you're stuck behind a car spewing
this stuff out. It happens with cheap cats that react with the high sulphur
content of ULP I'm told.

regards
Terry

hi, er, um arent you supposed to run a catalytic converter with unleaded?
who wants
to put a converter on their car ,? restrictave , no matter which way you
look at it.

i noticed that quiet a few people are concerned with legality of certain
motor
conversions and dont wanna do this or that ,so why run unleaded? (without a
catalytic
converter, plus unleaded stinks like cats pee..)
