List,
I'm looking at getting my stock z-18et flywheel
lightened a little to make the engine a bit more responsive. Anyway, after
studying the archives I see that I should take material from the outside of the
flywheel which makes perfect sense. I noticed I can only take a few mm
from the outside so the pressure plate will still bolt on but I'm unsure where
the dowels for the ring gear are located? Is there anyway I could get the
flywheel and ring gear apart or is that something the machinist will have to
do? My only other question is should I also get a little taken of one of
the faces of the flywheel as well or just stick to get a few mm taken from the
outside?
Thanks heaps in advance.
