The book somewhere shows lining up the notch on the sprocket with a mark on the cam tower, which should line up when the engine is at TDC, with #1 on compression. Make sure your wooden block is jammed in nice and tight, or you'll be taking the timing cover off to retreive the tensioner. Not too bad but adds a couple of hours to the job. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
