Hey,

I just drove around for a year in a Stanza with no interior!
I got pinged for it at rego time though. You need an engineers certificate if you want
to change it from a 5 seater to a 2 seater (even if you remove the belts)
Now I have the rear seats back in (+ 10-15Kg).

Some of the best weight saving has got to be in the engine bay, the cast-iron exhaust
manifold is a lot heavier than extractors, and a light flywheel and clutch (L24) makes
a significant difference to acceleration and engine response
BTW
I removed 25Kg or so of asphalt sound deadening.
