if you have an older R160 LSD out of the 80's 4WD's the conversion costs
over the $100 for the diff
cost about 30mins and $16.  Did one myself.  the $16 is for a little male
Torx socket to unscrew the flanges that
the subaru's use and then bolting the 1600 flange in , straight swap and
away you go
