you can  remove the guides , then polish em up, but you MIGHT  have to replace  them with oversize guides ( thicker walled guides,  o.d.  so that u use the same size valve stem.)  the guides are a interferiance  fit, and dont know if taking  the olod ones out and putting std ones in the alloy head will loosen em up.?    ...or               why dont you just grind the valve guide smooth with the roof of the port? mark k   ----- Original Message ----- From: Daniel Kroehn To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 07, 2001 9:15 PM Subject: Valve guide removal???
