When the
guides are replaced the valves must be reseated as they maay not be concentric
with the seats any longer. It is worthwhile fitting new guides if you are
pressing out the oldies. Cheers, Feral Errol -----Original
Message----- Hey
guys and girls, To
completly polish the intakes and exhausts of my z18et head, I think it is going
to be necessary to remove the guides. Are these guides meant to be
removed and replaced? Or should new one be put in? I realise that
each guide must remain with its corresponding valve and the height of the guide
must also be measured before removal so they can be put back exactly the same
when they go back in. Comments/suggestions/answers? Cheers
people Daniel
