um VLSD as in the skyline type are sealed.... as in its like a sealed assembly with its own fluid within the centre itself. i dont think thyre servicable either. this is why i love watching young people purchase big dollar synthetic oil for thier Viscous LSD... such a waste of money because it dosent really matter one bit... they are verry sensitive to temperature because if you cook the oil in the sealed centre youre stuffed.
Interesting, I've read that VLSD's are a lot more sensitive to Oil quality and temp. than clutched. I know that Nissan Skylines have a similar problem that over time the diff becomes 'more slip' and less limited and changing the viscosity and properly flushing the used oil can make an impovement. Nice for the road though, noticeably smoother and more progressive in hook up out of corners. DET DAN
