I'd have to agree. Was watching sports sedans at lakeside once and loved the sound of a rotary at full noise. I was brought back to reality when it spun off and I had the chance to hear it idling...

they suck! sure theyre quick but who cares when you need to be deaf to be able to sit in one while its running

I think some people are intimidated by the high RPM and brittle accelaration of the RE.
