$300 sounds about right. I paid about that three years ago for one.   The sound was not adjustable on mine but the PSI was. By turning the top part of the BOV you increase the tension on the spring which controls the BOV, therefore limiting the amount of creep the BOV will have.   Also, being made of alloy they should last a long time, longer than some of those very expensive Japanese brands that are made from plastic. Plus, as a bonus they are Australian made by a guy in Sydney who started small with ads in the local trading post - now they are very successful.
