Subject: Re: paint
hi, i would use around 400-600 wet`n
dry. if its too smooth the paint wont stick properly.
my brother has gone away for holidays , and he would have a pretty good
idea of whats wot. if you still need info he`ll be back on
16th jan.
acrylic is getting a bit old hat
now, you are better off using 2-pack. e.g protec 604
paint..

Subject: paint
does anyone here know much about paintint a
1600?
my paint is new but quite rough.
i am thinking of doing an acrylic job, well
getting someone to spray it for me.
If i did the prep work which is just sanding
back the car with 800 wet and dry to take the shine off.......i'm guessing
that is all...please tell me if i am wrong, How much should i pay for the
labour and paint....assuming that i don't use a booth?
How much should i pay for paint?
I was told it was group 4 paint and thus
expensive....it is a ford midnight blue that i am doing......any help is
appreciated guys.
