Dave,

It works but is very susceptible to major leakage/failure. A much better solution is to change rod lengths or compression height of pistons used.

I've heard of people using 2 headgaskets stuck together to decrease compression ratio's

 

what's the deal with doing this? obviously I'd need to change the tension settings? how do I work this out?
