hi, pretty darn good price i reckon. u
will have to use the z series z20 pistons.
about how to check if its a z24 crank
hmmmmmmm.
just occured to me, put a l20b crank in the block
with bearings, just the upper half will do, then rotate the crank and take some
measurements at certain positions from inside block to crank, then do the
same with the z24 crank in, if its a z24 crank the readings will be
shorter between journal and block.

Subject: L / Z conversion
conclusion
thanks to all the guys who helped with the L/Z
series advice (Mark, Thomas, Terry, Andrew, any one I missed).
I've just got home with my new Z20 block, Z24
crank, L20B rods and L20B pistons....I paid $200 for the whole lot, is that
cheap?
obviously the L20B pistons won't be suitable, but
they came attached to the rods, what pistons should I use to finish this
combo?
also is there anyway I can check that this crank
is deffinately out of a Z24, It was allready out of the motor when I got there
so I didn't actually see them take it out.
