Hi, I
have a Air Research turbo from a Nissan EXA 84 that I have disassembled partly
on my table. I am after some info and diagrams etc on this sucker so I can get
it shmicked up and learn a little about turbos in the process...
The
markings on it are:
The compressor side has AiResearch M10 stamped on it, with .48 stamped inside the blow hole. The
Exhaust side has .47 and M26 stamped on it only.
The
turbo doesn't spin easily on the bearing, and I have got it apart mostly. The
turbine and housing appear to be in good nick.
I need
info and diagrams if anybody has anything on this baby, links or diagrams
please.
The
only info I know is that 2 types were used on these motors, watercooled and
non-watercooled. This has NO water inlets.
I plan
on either building one of those psycho DIY Jet engines with this or bunging it
onto my wife's ford laser.. :)
Thanks
in advance!
