yerr a 76 in a L18 goes to 8500
some guys used to get the 76/74 grind
76 on inlet and 74 on exhaust, this could be the other way around, can't remember exactly.
i thought a 76 in a stroked L20 would come on earlier?

i'm using 38mm chokes.........manifold is 38mm and ports are about 38mm as well. 44mm inlet valves - 35mm exh valves.  i suppose the trumpets are 4 inches long - and i'm only using sock filters (not blocked !!!)

i'm putting it on a dyno for a tune check up / mixture check next week. i don't know, that might be restricting it a bit........... but let me tell you...... 17 miles per gallon is about the average consumption !!!!

so, after that, i'm lost........everything is done......... i spoke to ivan tighe cams and asked if the 76 deg works cam is too big - considering that they work up to about 8500 and mine only revs to 6500. the feedback i received was if i put a 72 or 74 deg cam in, it would struggle to reach even 6500. so i guess it needs the long duration to rev hard.

i'm not really in the market for 48s - as my 45s are nearly new.
