Pollution report? What was involved with that Geordie?

Then he checks that it all complies with the ADR rules, ie pollution, safety, etc. If anything does not comply or is structurally unsafe, then he will tell you to modify something another way and come back. If all is well with his inspection, then he writes a report, takes your money and hands you the report. Most engineers I spoke to were great blokes who were all too willing to help you out. Most of 'em are hoons like us who have 20 years of extra living under their belt and just want you to have a safe / roadworthy car, and to share their knowledge and hindsight with you for a fee. I put a SR20DET in a TRX and all I did was do the work I thought I had to do, rung a few engineers and asked them what mods they required, etc. The only things which were stipulated was that I have an unleaded fuel nozzle, and that after I get that, to go to the RTA and get a pollution test done. Then I rung him up again once that was done, we spent about an hour together, I showed him all the things I did to change the car from NORMAL to what it is now, gave him the pollution report and the next day he gave me his engineer's report. There is absolutely nothing to worry about so long as everything you do seems good to you, then chances are when inspection time comes, it'll look good enough to the engineer! In a nutshell, and as Cam said..Sortov... They are making an Engineer's Report, and that is all it is. A report of what things have been modified on your car. All too simple! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Chris Simpson Sent: Friday, 18 January 2002 11:07 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: engineering 1600 WA'ers? Does any one know how the sort of things that Cam has got engineered in Victoria compares to what you'd get away with in WA? Obviously the ADR's are all the same, but it is often the interpretation of them that matters by the individual engineers and the pits.
