Nick, I was a navigator in a TE Gemini for a couple of years here in Brisbane. Great fun and given the chance they really get up and go (we've hit 170kph in a stage).
As for what to expect, the only real problems we had were with handling, in particular bending front control arms on a regular basis which did cause some inconsistencies with handling. Having said that it was a rally car (and an old one at that) and it did take a hiding, so I guess that's something that you have to expect. I am not expecting as good straight line performance as my Datto though. PS It has coil springs all around.
