I've measured a few coils, including stock '71, GT40, Lucas sports (around 
'75), and stock '82 Z20 coil(s), and by FAR the lowest resistance, and 
highest saturation current was the Z20 coils. At least 50% better that the
best of the rest (the GT40).

I wouldn't use anything else but the Z20 coils.
