No worries, this may also help.... 

When I first mounted my Recaros in the Datto I was a little too keep and
didn't spend the time to trial fit, measure re-trial fit, re-measure
etc... The result was that the seats weren't in the absolute best
position they could have been.  

Since then I re-mounted them closer to the tunnel. In fact the driver's
seat is more centred in relation to the steering wheel than before.  You
may find that you can get another 2cm or whatever you need by
re-mounting the seats, i.e. Re-drilling the mounting holes on your base
adapter....

so someone must have a answer.
The seats I have (I think they are Prelude) are really big and wide too.
