Swanny,

Never seen problems in this area other than normal wear & tear. One item
that does take a beating is the 180B one-way valve if you're using a Bendix
booster. A Skyline/Pintara item does the job and i've never seen one fail.
If you have the stock 70's version in with a turbo, it usually takes out the
diaphragm in the Bendix booster when she blows which is annoying (nuisance
value more than anything else).

regards
Terry

G'day Listers,

I was wondering with a boosted car should I be using better than normal
vacuum hose for the small fittings on the FJ ( on the inlet mani, Fuel reg,
map sensor etc) if so can anyone tell me what type????

I have a feeling that when it hits boost the normal vacuum hose might split
under pressure...... should I be looking for something with a certain
pressure rating on the side of the hose like what fuel line has??

Thanx for the info

Swanny
