I've always use 1/2 turn initial setting. The book you got with them probably says all the way off but you don't take any notice of it. Struts that adjust like that are a pain but that's they way they come in that model. 1/2 turn will be either just right or as stiff as a billiard table - it seems to vary a fair bit between models. I think it was Cam who did this a while back on his 1600, and we had a similar discussion - he would be the best one to advise.

Subject: Koni adjustables adjustment

Hey guys,

I got my  koni's today and will probably put them in tomorrow or the next day.  They are the adjustable type that you have to completly compress and rotate them to gain the adjustment.  They backs can be done on the car but the fronts will require the whole strut to be dismantled (well almost) to be able to adjust them.  Any tips for a good street setting that's not to rough i.e half a turn, more/less?  When I get around to some track work, them I'll worry about pulling them out and really adjusting them finely.
