this is the fun bit,   go to the chemist and ask for some syringes, the larger capacity the better.   if  they ask u if u want needles with that, say no.........
gets a  few looks  when u ask for them, u might as well play the part and dress up like a druggy.....
 
then get some kero, turps  and fill the chamber up thru the hole. dont forget to take readings....
 
if you have too small a hole, the air will get trapped in .

Not bad $40 and 200 klicks worth of juice, it sounds like it could be a 36cc Japanese peanut chamber head, as I said before not common in Aus but you see them occasionally. Safe to say it wasn't the original engine in the Stanza, so a PO has probably driven into an importer for a transplant.

L16 block, the guy didnt know shit about it, i think $40 wasnt bad for a closed a87, considering when i bought my last head, a u67 i paid $80 and it didnt come with the cam or towers
