Damien,

No, I haven't got anything for DHLA as I've never used them, well not for a very long time. You could try Canberra Speed Shop at Fyshwick if your local bloke can't help you. They are much the same as a weber jet but the threads can be slightly different pitch so don't be tempted to use a weber item. I have never ventured out to Tuggas to see what the car scene is like out there, I'm in Belco and our blokes we we need them are pretty good too. I use DynoTune in the Carco centre for weber bits and pieces and never had a problem - other than they're damn exy but what price for that sweet sound under the bonnet.

I have R31 rear end but you shouldn't have asked me about my handbrake setup. Let's say it's under construction but I have all of the bits to hook up shortened Skyline cables to the stock 1600 front handbrake. I thought of a 120Y setup for the road car but I have to re-fab too much of the console etc so I'll just go for the old style. I very rarely use the handbrake on a road car so it's not high on my list of must do mods.

regards
Terry

Subject: RE: weird inlet manifold?-Terry.R

Thanks Terry,

I will put it on and see how it goes.  Do you have a idle mixture screw for a 45DHLA that you want to sell?. I am going to put the DHLA on my friends 180B and it is missing that screw. I will use the conventional mani for his car and put the single 45DCOE(which looks better condition) on my 1600 with the LYNX mani.

I have heard that Gas-Tune in Tuggers are good guys for Webers, and they have a 'Weber jet library'. Ever heard of them? Know anyone else who is a guru?

I put Ecentric rear bushs in my A-arms yesterday and R31 rear brakes. Do you have R31 rear?, if so, what is your hand brake set-up? I want to set up a centre mount (120Y) handbrake lever using various parts.

Thanks again,

Damien
