Daniel,
I think it depends on where the turbo is mounted in relation to the crankshaft.Ive seen some hi mount turbo setups where cracking was a problem (mainly stainless). The problem was fixed with a flex pipe.I havent seen these problems with the factory like setups where the turbo is mounted a lot closer to the crankshaft. The whole exhaust system would have about half the movement of some of the hi mount setups. I'm about to finish welding my 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust and with it mounted up its pretty solid. I just don't want any of the welds cracking under torque, so I was wondering what others think?
