The bluey thermo fans when working properly are really efficient. You'd have a fair idea with 15000 klicks up since the rebuild on how strong the engine is and if you're confident it's reliable enough to up the anti on it a  bit. Most of the L engines still on the road would have a lot more distance on them than yours and run with similar equipment as you propose to use and are going fine. The L engine is very robust especially the bottom end, valve guide wear in high mileage heads (especially A87) is about the main problem for oil usage. I still see L engines with over 300' K's on them with original bore and pistons that have been re-ringed a few times and still pulling good power without a blue cloud trailing them.   If you keep up to the recommended service intervals, i.e. don't flog it when cold etc it should run well for a very long time. I wouldn't bother about the oil cooler for street use as it can cause more problems than it's worth.
