The easiest way to get an L20 to sit under the bonnet is to cut the LH
engine mount metal bracket vertically, then reweld it so the LH engine side
is slightly lower, 5mm offset is more than enough. After grinding the
welding flush and repainting black nobody will detect this modification
under the manifolding.
Alternatively use a side draft carby set up.
