Ryan,
Not sure how much of a gain you'll get fitting the 44mm valves but if you have
to replace the valves you might as well use the larger ones as they cost the
same.The last head i did cost $8 each for the valves,$8 each for hardened seats
fitted to suit the larger valves and $8 each guide fitted,$30 to face the
head,$90 for the crow springs,$90 for the crow lash pads,$70 for the wade
cam.They did the hardness test and pressure test for free and i cut and ground
all the seats and valves and did all the porting and combustion chambers.Its
also worthwhile blending the bores to the combustion chambers
